Students will gain a basic knowledge of computer programming by exploring block coding with Scratch. This coding club requires previous knowledge such as a previous club, camp, self study. The club acts as the perfect platform into the world of computer literacy. Each week students will learn key computational concepts and practices through the creation of their own animations, interactive stories and games. They will investigate fundamentals such as sequence, loops, conditionals, testing and debugging and creative problem solving, giving them the tools to start exploring other programming languages.
