Drawing also fosters creativity, provides a powerful tool for emotional expression, and can improve confidence and patience. The main driver to achieve this skills is be encouraged be a talented, dedicated and compassionate teacher and …have a lot of fun !

It is very good and nice to learn around a cultural theme, this term is devoted to the’ Life of an Inuit’. This winter we will visit the cold and snowy plains of Alaska and discover both practical and magic thinking of the ‘Way of the Inuit’. By making art pieces about the daily life and customs of these indigenous people, our little artists will create their own collection of Inuit Art.

During this art painting club, we will:
- draw Inuit fashion copied from late 19th century black & white photos
- paint the amazing colours of the arctic lights in the sky
- set up the inventive Igloo housing constructions in aquarelle paint
- make and decorate our own funny shaman masks
- design our own traditional Inuit toys and tools
- recreate kayaks & sleds with blue eyed sled dogs
- discover the hunting traditions by making a tracking map
